After Stonebwoy’s mother passed on
last year, lots of people started circulating the news that he used his
mum for his personal gains and that he winning the BET awards was as a
result of the sacrifice he made by using his mum.
They also claimed that after his mother’s departure, he has risen beyond reasonable measure within that short span.
According
to Stonebwoy, he can’t just take this news of he, killing his mum
anymore and that the news is false, he didn’t kill his mum. He revealed
this and more in an interview with King Lagazee on Hitz Fm last Sunday.
When
the host asked him whether it’s true that he did kill his mum for the BET awards, Stonebwoy who at this point got very emotional revealed, “It’s
a lie, I did not. It’s God who gives and it’s the same God who takes.
Believe it or not, I’ve had enough of this news, I would post something
totally different on Facebook, some people’s comment would be I killed
my mum, Twitter same, Instagram same. But I want to let the world know
that I did not kill my mum. How can I kill the woman who gave birth to
me and my siblings, I didn’t. He said.
He continued, ‘If
it’s the will of God for it to happen, it will. I even won the BET
awards before my mum died, but I want to say that people who know you
will accept your explanation, but people who hate you….he ended.
Stonebwoy
two days ago released a new single titled, ‘Guy guy’ with Bisa Kdei and
he is hoping to repeat history by winning big this year’s VGMAs Artiste
of the year. |
