Vodafone Ghana has presented prizes to the winning schools in the Vodafone Icons High School Edition.Accra Academy emerged the overall winners of the competition earning their school a music studio with a complete band set, laptops with audio editing software for music production, as well as fibre connectivity supply.
Additionally, the school band will also represent Ghana at the global High School Musical Contest organised by Vodafone in Turkey. Each member of the band also received an educational scholarship for the 2016/2017 academic year.The remaining five schools also received PA systems, shopping vouchers, mobile phones, tablets, Vodafone souvenirs and hampers as consolation prizes.
The Head of Marketing at Vodafone Ghana Agnes Essah , said they are excited with the output of the show as it unearthed a lot of talents in the senior high schools and they will continue with the sponsorship this year.She also commended the Ghana Education Service for their commitment and direction which led to a very successful debut of the Vodafone Icons High School Edition.
