SHOULD GHANAIANS RELIE ON IGP ASSURANCE?...( will do everything in my power to stop road accidents - IGP assures)

President Mahama has sworn into office the Inspector General of Police, COP John Kudalor at the Flagstaff house calling on him to implement the necessary measures to avoid road accidents
Commenting on the gory road accident at Kintampo which claimed the lives of about 60 Ghanaians,
President Mahama lamented over what he revealed to be Ghana’s poorest ranking when it comes to road safety.Meanwhile IGP John Kudalor promised his resolve to ensure that all rules and regarding road safety are strictly adhered to.COP John Kudalor has since November 2015 been acting IGP following the retirement of the former, Mohammed Alhassan.The gory accident on Wednesday involved a Kumasi bound Metro Mass bus which collided head on with a truck loaded with tomatoes believed to be traveling from Navrongo – an incident saw several of the passengers trapped in the mangled bus as the locals struggled to cut the vehicles to retrieve the dead and those alive.Since his appointment he has effective major changes in the police service and also pledged much preparedness ahead of the November 7th general elections.
