For some years now, she has had to
come out to clarify one situation after the other. And now, child actress, Clara Amoateng Benson aka Maame Serwaa has another one on her
hands which she has to deal with.
She has been a victim of names
calling as a result of the kind of roles she plays in movies and to
those people she says the roles she plays are different from her
personality and what she stands for.
“The roles I play in movies
do not define me. When I am on set, I am a different breed and when I
get home, I’m me, I do not loose myself based on the characters I play
in movies,” she said in an interview with Delay on theDelay Show.
According
to the Kumawood actress, though she plays the bad one in almost all the
movies, those roles do not affect her in any way.
“I act because
I love acting and I have always wanted to act. I remember how I used to
disturb my mom to take me to some of the locations so I get a feel of
how the acting thing goes.
“ I guess I get to play such roles because I am good at it but the bottom line is the roles I play do not affect me,” she said. |
