Media File A 16 year old Junior High School pupil, Angelina Nsaah, has lost her life after consuming a liquid substance suspected to be gramoxone in an attempt to abort her pregnancy.

Gramoxone is a non-selective herbicide that is used in controlling weeds.

The substance, Kasapafmonline.com learnt, was given to her by her boyfriend whose name was only given as Atsu.

The incident, this website is told, happened at Bogoso in the Prestea/Huni Valley constituency in the Western Region.

Father of the deceased, Eric Nsaah, in an interview said his daughter gave up the ghost when they were on their way to the Afia Nkwanta Government Hospital in Takoradi after being referred from the Tarkwa Government Hospital.

He said the demise of her daughter is a big blow to the family because his daughter was very brilliant at school and had vowed to do his best to ensure that she climbs to the top.

Atsu together with one accomplice, we are told are currently in Police custody and expected to be arraigned before court soon.
