Jealous boy sprays acid on lover’s face for Jilting Him

A 37 year old trader, Abena Konadu, has been sprayed with acid in the face by her ex boyfriend, Philip Oppong, a commercial driver.

The incident occurred at Bogoso in the Prestea/Huni Valley District in the Western Region.

The duo had parted ways after a misunderstanding ensued between them but Oppong, Kasapafmonline.com learned, did not come to terms with the breakup.

He then decided to teach Konadu a lesson by pouring acid on her face Konadu to make her unattractive to any man that may come her way.face 

Isaac Ayensu, an uncle of Konadu told this website in an interview that the misunderstanding issue between the two lovers was brought to his attention where the matter was settled amicably on January 6, 2016.

The disputing lovers, he said, then parted ways only to be told early Saturday morning around 3:30am (January 9, 2016) that the man has poured acid on the face of his niece.

He said the matter was then reported to the Police and the victim taken to hospital for treatment.

Konadu, Kasapafmonline.com learned, was first taken to the Bogoso Government Hospital but was referred to Prestea for treatment. She is in stable condition, according to Mr. Ayensu.
